Three tanker vessels were registered in the Faroese International Ship Register (FAS) last month.
The sister ships YOKOHAMA PIONIER and KOBE PIONIER have received the flag on their sterns and are on their way to Europe, where they will carry out their daily operations. The vessels were built in Korea in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Their gross tonnage is 2,801 and 2,696 respectively.
SELVIK ICE was built in the Netherlands in 2000. It will be transporting oil to vessels in the Barents Sea, among other things.
These new vessels are three of only six oil and chemical tankers in the FAS. The others are FURE SKAGEN, FURE SPEAR and OKTAN.
We wish them a warm welcome and fair winds ahead!
